Important Information About Gold Beads & Melting Weight
Our gold beads are first formed and then filled with wax to help maintain their shape and durability. This specialised lightweight construction requires proper equipment and a suitable process for wax removal and gold recovery.
Therefore, the gold weight recovered after melting may vary depending on the melting and recovery method used. We cannot guarantee the recovered gold weight if the article is melted independently or through a third party using their own process.
Jewellery Care
Avoid perfumes, chemicals, direct heat and flames. Remove before bathing or swimming. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth, handle carefully and store separately in a dry jewellery box or pouch.
Occasional Wear
This lightweight mala is intended for occasional wear, such as weddings, celebrations and gifting occasions, rather than regular daily wear. Handle gently and avoid pulling, pressure or impact.

BIS Hallmark & HUID Verification
Our jewellery is hallmarked in accordance with applicable BIS requirements. Certain eligible articles, including wax-filled gold ball jewellery and articles falling under the applicable exemption for items below 2 grams, may be exempt from HUID requirements.
Where HUID is applicable, customers can verify the six-digit HUID mentioned on the jewellery article and purchase bill through the official BIS Care app or BIS website.
For eligible articles exempt from HUID, customers may approach a BIS-recognised hallmarking centre to have the gold’s purity tested, subject to the centre’s applicable procedures and charges.

Are these malas made with real gold?
Our beads are made from real gold, not gold-coated material, then filled with wax for support and durability. Each article is hallmarked; separate purity and order-identification inscriptions help us identify it for buyback. Stated net gold weight excludes wax and other non-gold materials.
You can have the gold tested at a BIS-recognised Assaying and Hallmarking Centre. Tell the tester that the beads are thin and wax-filled so they can select an appropriate testing method and avoid unnecessary damage.
Can I wear my mala every day?
These delicate malas are intended for occasional wear, weddings, celebrations and gifting rather than regular daily wear. Handle gently and avoid pulling, pressure, impact, perfume, chemicals and moisture.
How do I choose my colour and purity?
Select from the options shown on the product page. Available colours and purities vary by design. Check your selection and displayed price before adding to cart.
How do partial COD, shipping and delivery work?
For partial COD, pay 10% of the jewellery value plus the full ₹479 shipping charge upfront. Pay the remaining 90% of the jewellery value on delivery. Review checkout for available options and exact amounts.
Shipping is ₹479 per order, including orders with more than one mala. Delivery is available within India to serviceable pincodes. Allow 1–2 business days for processing. Estimated overall delivery is 3–7 business days from order and required-payment confirmation. These are estimates, not guarantees.
Your ₹479 delivery charge contributes towards fully insured delivery through Sequel Logistics, a trusted specialist in jewellery logistics in India. Gayatri Jewellers covers the remaining shipping cost.
